Karachi saved from major terror attack as 10 kg bomb defused
KARACHI- Law enforcement agency on late Sunday night foiled a major terror bid by defusing explosive device near Jamshed Quarters area.
According to police sources, unknown miscreants planted bomb with bike parked in the area. Passersby spotted the suspicious bike and informed the police. The law enforcers immediately called the bomb disposal squad. The BDS team, upon arrival, defused the bomb weighed around 10 kilograms. The explosives were connected with a detonator and cell phone, however timely action from the law enforcers helped foiling the explosion.
